We can assist you with your decision regarding the best metal finishing processes for your product and other related requirements for each process. It is our policy to provide a detailed quote for every job prior to beginning the processing of your parts, whenever possible.
All orders and parts at our facilities go through product realization prior to being released to operations. We ensure that all specifications and print requirements can and will be attained.
Parts testing may entail specific destructive and non-destructive testing requirements. This information is critical when requesting a “Certification of Conformance”. Oftentimes the specification will state that the customer should select the method of testing. The information supplied will help assist you in determining if certain destructive and non-destructive testing can be waived. Furthermore, it will help determine if the testing can be performed on your parts or on coupons and if there are any other tests that are required.

We need the following information to properly prepare your quote:
- Part Name and Number (if applicable)
- Any specification or call out
- Print of the part
- Plating/Coating process requested (i.e. Anodize, Type II, Class 2)
- Contact Information
- Material the part is made from (i.e. 6061 T6 aluminum)
- Hardness
- Baking Requirements
- Masking Requirements
- Special Instructions regarding coating of slots, holes, inside diameters, etc. (i.e. plug all threaded holes)
- Racking preference/location, if necessary
- Coating Thickness required
- Dimensional requirements relating to holding the thickness in key areas
- Spec. waiver sheet if applicable
- Is a Certification required
The same information is also required when preparing your PO. Please reference any/all quote numbers provided by PC. This information is required so that we can provide you timely, quality parts at the agreed upon prices. If any of the above information is not available in written form, a revised PO, drawing or specification is required before processing can begin.
PO’s are required for all parts prior to the start of your job. Your purchase order will override any specification on your print.
